Sohail currently serves as the President and CEO, and under his leadership, Edloe Health has experienced remarkable growth, growing from a team of 10 to now over 250 team members. Sohail attributes this success to the exceptional care provided by the dedicated medical staff.

Firozali Roopani

Firozali started his life-long career in the business world at the tender age of 13. Being the eldest son in a family of ten, he was expected to contribute his share to support his parents and siblings.
From working at the family lumber mill to starting a wholesale motorcycle parts and tire shop in Pakistan, he and his brother, Barketali, were able to rise through the financial ranks. In 1986, Firozali along with his wife and four young children decided to emigrate to Houston, TX.
His initial foray into business in the US was a gas station and convenience store which provided the family a means to thrive in their new home. This then led to expansion into multiple locations and ultimately, a wholesale distribution for convenience stores around Greater Houston and Southeast Texas.
Upon stabilizing their convenience store wholesale operations with his brother, Firozali had an opportunity to venture into a technical business: plastic bag manufacturing. In the late 1990s, he built Prince Plastics which continues to provide locally produced plastic bags for grocery chains around the nation.
Firozali has contributed time, energy, and capital to growing the operating businesses and real estate that now form Edloe Ventures and he continues to remain an advisor to the partners that run it today.

Barketali Roopani

Barketali joined his brother, Firozali, in their motorcycle parts and tire business in Pakistan at an early age. The interest in joining the family business was one that pulled him away from a formal college education but the adage that “experience counts more than education” rang very true for him.
To help with his brother’s earlier move to the US, Barketali and his wife and young son stayed back to continue their business operations in Pakistan. Once provided the green light to move to the US, they too moved and settled in Houston, TX.
From the start, both Barketali and Firozali have been in business together and this continued on arrival to the US. They both ran their gas stations and this blossomed to a wholesale distributor operations for convenience stores around Houston and Southeast Texas.
Upon selling this wholesale operation, both brothers chose different lines of business to concentrate on – Firozali went into plastic bag manufacturing whereas Barketali set his eyes on jewelry wholesale. For ten years, Barketali and his wife, Shehnaz ran their operations, Royal Jewelers, out of the Jewelry Exchange Center.
In 2013, Barketali sold Royal Jewelers and transitioned careers once again but this time into healthcare through an imaging center. Although he would not run the operations directly, this early move would set the stage for the creation of Edloe Health.
Barketali’s early and continued partnership with Firozali has instilled the guiding principle of unity within Edloe Ventures and its principles that stands stronger than ever. Barketali continues to serve as an advisor to the partners of Edloe Ventures.
